Updates

It's been a couple crazy few weeks, let me tell you! Each weekend has had ups and downs, but thankfully not any more huge steps backwards. We did find out that we messed up on some of the wiring, and forgot to put a line in for the heat recovery system. AND, we also found out that the window in the kitchen was too low, so the countertops were going to be above the bottom of the window. So we had to search for a window that was the same width, but not as long. Then take that window out and build up the wall underneath and then put in the new window. But this past weekend we got all the trim up, and the bedroom wall closed in! Here's a few pictures of the last couple weekends of work!

Ruth loves the loft :)
Almost all the cork is up for the outside! Just the last 2/3 of the front wall.
Bedroom wall is up, and trim is in place!

Fingers crossed that painting will happen this weekend. Still a few things to do before that can be done, but it's possible as long as everything goes as planned.

The camper we were staying in was returned to the owner this past weekend, so since the tiny house isn't quite ready for us to be able to sleep in it, we've moved back in with my parents. Stephen is reacting to something either in their house, or possibly something he came in contact with in getting the camper ready to go on the road the past weekend. The last few nights he's been getting itchy, warm, and actually had a small rash this morning. It's been a long time since this has happened, so it's a little concerning. We're hoping it was just a small encounter with mold in putting up the sewer lines for the camper, but it's taking a while for him to recover, which isn't great. We're hoping that the hyperbarics this week will help him get back to where he was. I've also been reacting to a lot of things lately, and I'm not even sure what I'm reacting to exactly or why I'm reacting. I'm washing all of our clothes in the ammonia/baking soda/epsom salts routine today hoping that it will help.

Healing from mold is a crazy roller-coaster journey. We're trying to figure out how long to keep Stephen doing hyperbarics, as he has done 12 more than the recommended forty dives. He definitely still isn't where we want him to be, but doing so much better than 4 months ago!
