Tiny House building!

The last two weekends have been full of progress. Being able to work over the Labor Day weekend gave us three full days to get the floor and walls built, and then over this past weekend we were able to get it almost completely in the dry! The final steps of putting on the ice shield and installing the door will happen tonight.
Stephen has put in some LONG days over the past week, (some days working almost 10 hours) so he is definitely feeling exhausted. The good news is that he NEVER broke out into any hives, despite being out in the extremely humid Arkansas weather and heat. If you ask him, he will tell you that he didn't do very much. But I keep trying to remind him that even if he wasn't doing heavy physical work every minute, he was the man with the answers so even if his muscles and body were resting, his mind was working non-stop. Even during the week, he was running to Lowes and traveling to other places to pick up supplies, so he really didn't even have a rest day in between the full weekends. So even though he is definitely still trying to recover from two full weeks, this is something that he hasn't been able to do in years.
Labor Day weekend progress:

This past weekend's progress:
Thursday night Stephen was trying to plan out all the electrical outlets and light switches before his family arrived the next morning. Ruth saw him "coloring" and wanted to join him. She's helping me pick the colors for the kitchen. ;)

Stephen's family came once again to help us get a lot accomplished, and over the weekend we ended up having a crew of 15 men total working on the tiny house. We are so blessed to have so many men willing to come help us make this tiny house a reality.
I came home from work Friday at noon to see walls up!! It was so exciting!

By Saturday night, this was where we were at. Still need a few windows put in and the rest of the zip system needed to be sealed off, but lots of progress!

Can't wait to see what gets accomplished this coming weekend!!
On another note, Stephen has officially finished his 40 dives at the hyperbaric oxygen clinic today. He still is not quite where we want him to be physically, so we are going to continue to take it week by week and keep him going until we feel like he's ready to stop. If he starts to feel better, we can slow it down and not have him go in every day. But after the past two weeks, he is definitely needing some help to keep detoxing and to regenerate his health. It helps a lot that we are able to keep the discounted rate that we got for paying in full at the beginning of the treatment process. So we're praying that we keep seeing results and that he won't plateau during all of this.
