Mold is still in our house....

As you know, we had fogged our house with the BioBalance Haven fog, which is the product that the mold expert recommended. We were counting on this to make it possible to be able to sell our possessions and home, and once the fogging was done, we were going to re-test the house to make sure that it worked properly. We waited the recommended five days, and this past Saturday, we opened up the bag to see what they contained.
Annnnd, this is what we found.
We only had two test plates that came with the fogger, so we put one plate in the kitchen and one plate in the bedroom, since they are on opposite ends of the house. The kitchen actually is great, because there was just one mold colony. Which is actually surprising, since we had found the water damage under the sink. Apparently we did take care of that problem successfully, so that's great. But our bedroom obviously still has some issues. You can see nine mold colonies, which is the level that is not safe to live in, and illness is probable. We felt so defeated.
We still had the mold experts email address, so Stephen sent him a picture and the update to see if he had any other ideas. They ended up talking on the phone later that day, and Stephen answered a lot of questions on how encapsulating the crawl space went, what our bedroom looks like, etc. The mold expert was able to suggest a few things that we could check before re-fogging, such as checking the humidity in the house, and making sure our attic air isn't contaminating the breathable air in our bedroom. We actually realized that we have no idea what the ceiling in our bedroom and living room look like, because it is just sheets of tin. So we don't know if that's the only barrier keeping attic air from the breathable air, or if there is some drywall/sheet rock on top of the metal, enclosing the space. The mold expert did say that in rare occasions he did have to re-fog some homes, because the first time didn't get it all. But he does think that there is still an issue somewhere in the house.
So first we decided to re-fog the house with Mold Control, since my dad uses this in his handyman work and seems to have good results. Plus, it's a lot cheaper than the Haven fog... We also have a dehumidifier going in the house, and we're waiting on some more test plates to come in. Once they come in, we can test the house again and hopefully get better results!
